Taluk-level adalats to address grievances of people on various issues including land, social security, health, man-animal conflict and the stray dog menace.

Thiruvananthapuram | The CPI(M)-led government in Kerala, as part of its second anniversary celebrations, will organise Taluk-level adalats under the leadership of the ministers to address the grievances of the people on various issues including land, social security, health, man-animal conflict and the stray dog menace.

The decision to organise the adalats at the taluk-level was taken by the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday.

"Grievance redressal adalats will be held in the months of April and May in taluk headquarters under the leadership of ministers in connection with the second anniversary of the ministry. Adalats will be held in the presence of the officers of the Collectorate and concerned Taluks to redress the grievances of the public at the Taluk level", the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said in a release here.

Complaints to be considered before the Adalat will be received on working days from April 1 to 10. Public can submit complaints online, through Akshaya Kendras and taluk offices. Necessary online system will be arranged for this, it said.
