Keralam Police has advised people travelling away from home to notify the law enforcement through the 'Locked House' feature on its official Pol-App

Thiruvananthapuram | The Keralam Police has advised people travelling away from home to notify the law enforcement through the 'Locked House' feature on its official Pol-App According to a Facebook post of the police, the officers would conduct targeted patrols to monitor registered homes and their surroundings.

To utilise the service, the users must register their details through the app at least 48 hours prior to the departure, and the submissions can be accepted up to seven days in advance.

The house and its premises can be kept under police surveillance for a maximum of 14 days.

Registrants are required to provide the travel date, location of the house, house name and the names and phone numbers of nearby relatives or neighbours.

The Pol-App is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the post added.
