Kerala Home Minister to release revised Vigilance Manual

Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will release the revised Vigilance Manual on Wednesday as part of the state Vigilance department's Project Zero initiative aimed at strengthening anti-corruption measures.

The manual will be released at a function to be held at 10.30 am at an auditorium of the Police Training College here, according to an official statement on Monday.

The event will also feature a review meeting of internal vigilance heads of various government departments and public sector undertakings as part of Project Zero, an anti-corruption initiative spearheaded by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau's (VACB).

Kerala Lokayukta Justice N Anil Kumar will preside over the function, while Transport Minister C P John will be the chief guest, it said.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Vigilance) Minhaj Alam and Kannur Range DIG K Karthik, VACB Director DGP Manoj Abraham and DIG Thomson Jose would also participate in the function, it added.
