Kerala Guv hosts tea gathering for new ministers at Lok Bhavan

After CM V D Satheesan and 20 ministers were sworn in, Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar hosted a tea gathering at Lok Bhavan here

Thiruvananthapuram | After Chief Minister V D Satheesan and 20 ministers were sworn in, Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar hosted a tea gathering at Lok Bhavan here.

Following the oath-taking ceremony at Central Stadium, which concluded around 11.30 am, the ministers headed to Lok Bhavan.

After the Governor, the first to arrive at Lok Bhavan was Minister P K Kunhalikutty in his official vehicle.

He was followed by Chief Minister Satheesan and other ministers.

Some Congress and Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leaders also accompanied the ministers to Lok Bhavan.

Arlekar interacted with the ministers during the tea gathering.

After the event, the ministers are scheduled to proceed to the State Secretariat, where the first Cabinet meeting will be held.
