Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Friday said the state government has sanctioned Rs 150 crore towards pending paddy procurement dues of farmers.

In a post on X, Satheesan said payments for all Paddy Receipt Sheet dues issued up to July 31, 2026, for the 2025-26 procurement season would be disbursed to farmers from Friday.

Disbursement has resumed through a bank consortium comprising the State Bank of India and Canara Bank, he said.

As the country prepares to celebrate Independence Day, the government of Keralam remains committed to supporting farmers, Satheesan said.
