Congress sources said the organisational matters and issues related to the new UDF government in Kerala figured in their discussion.

The visit also happened amid discussions within the party over the selection of a new Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, sources added.

The Congress-led UDF had registered a historic victory in the recent Kerala Assembly elections, returning to power in the state after a gap of a decade.
