Thiruvananthapuram | At least five people were injured on Thursday after a ride collapsed at an amusement park under the Venjaramoodu station limits, police said.

According to officials, the ride malfunctioned while in operation, causing it to collapse.

The injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals. Their conditions are not serious.

Police said further details are awaited, and an investigation is underway.
