CHALK 2026 State-Level Teachers Conference; Inviting nominations for Best Inclusive School and Teacher Awards

Kochi |  Jain (Deemed-to-be University) , Prayatna Centre for Child Development, Kochi, in association with IABT (Institute for Autism and Behavioural Therapy), Bridge Beyond Foundation has officially announced CHALK 2026 (Curating Holistic Approaches to Learning and Knowledge Sharing), a premier State-Level Teachers Development Conference. Scheduled to take place at Jain University on July 11th, the conference focuses on practical, evidence-informed, and classroom-relevant approaches that teachers can carry back into their schools. Uma Thomas MLA will be the Chief Guest of the programme.

 Through expert-led sessions and collaborative discussions, participants will explore modern strategies for innovative teaching, student wellbeing, and knowledge sharing.  

“A primary focus of the conference will be on inclusive practices, equipping teachers with the tools necessary to support diverse learners and celebrate good educational practices. CHALK 2026 will also feature a dedicated Scientific Session for B.Ed, M.Ed, and Psychology students.” said Dr. Joseph Sunny, Founder & Director, Prayatna Centre for Child Development, Kochi.

The event will also celebrate outstanding contributions to the academic community through two prestigious accolades. The Best Inclusive Teacher Award will recognize primary educators from Pre-primary up to Grade 5, with at least one year of experience, who showcases exceptional student-centered practices. Simultaneously, the Best Inclusive School Award will honour institutions that reveal authentic, holistic practices and meaningful efforts in creating supportive learning environments.
