BJP leader says every family in his constituency will experience benefits of progress in 5 years

BJP Kerala chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Sunday said that every family in his Nemom assembly constituency will experience the benefits of progress and development in the state in the next five years.

Thiruvananthapuram| BJP Kerala chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Sunday said that every family in his Nemom assembly constituency will experience the benefits of progress and development in the state in the next five years.

Chandrasekhar gave the assurance during an Onam celebration organised in his constituency, where he said that in view of the changing job market in the world and India, children should not only study hard, but also develop skills.

He said that the BJP will help and support every child in Nemom who wants to study and get a good job.

"But they should study hard and improve themselves," he clarified.

At the event, the BJP MLA distributed healthcare equipment and special aids for the differently-abled, provided 'Onakkodi' (clothes) and Onam kits to cancer patients, handed over sports kits to school children and honoured members of the Haritha Karma Sena with Onakkodi, a party statement said.

It also said that the Onam celebrations during the day will feature a grand 'Athapookkalam' (flower arrangement), Onappattu (Onam songs), Thiruvathira (dance performance) and will conclude with a traditional Onasadya (Onam feast).
