Response to Rajwada light & sound poor

The light and sound show being conducted at Rajwada by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has been receiving poor response

Indore | The light and sound show being conducted at Rajwada by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has been receiving poor response. The show conducted every evening receives not more than 15 guests daily.

The show was started from March 1 itself after opening of Rajwada for tourists on a fee.

The reason, according to many, is poor promotion when before renovation, Rajwada received huge number of guests and also earned a few lakhs every months. The ticket price has been raised to Rs 150 from as low as Rs 50 earlier.

This year the ticket price of the show has also been increased by the department from last time by Rs.50 to Rs.150. The show, held earlier at 6.40 pm, is currently from 7 pm. Department officials say this time the show now has new technologies and will take the help of social media for promotion.
