Rahul Gandhi targets 150 seats in Madhya Pradesh in assembly elections

Bhopal | Riding the winds of change after a spectacular victory in Karnataka, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is now aiming at the Madhya Pradesh assembly election scheduled for this year.  Congress will create history by winning 150 seats in Madhya Pradesh this time, claims veteran Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The repeatedly postponed meeting of senior leaders of Madhya Pradesh Congress finally concluded in Delhi with Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi interacted with the media. This meeting held in Delhi lasted for about 2 hours, in this meeting State Congress including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh, Suresh Pachauri, Vivek Tankha, Dr. Govind Singh, Arun Yadav, Ajay Singh, Nakul Nath, Rajmani Patel,  JP Agarwal, the central in-charge of the organization were also present. Discussions took place at all levels in the meeting.

In the meeting, Congress State President Kamal Nath gave information about the announcements made by him, in which Rahul Gandhi suggested that these announcements are very good and it is very important to take them to the lower level of the people. Every Congressman should gear up for this. Along with this, Rahul also suggested that along with making the announcement, it should also be studied from where the money will come for them.

Speaking to the reporters, Rahul Gandhi said, "We had a very detailed meeting right now. Our internal assessment says that since we got 136 seats in Karnataka, we are now going to get 150 seats in Madhya Pradesh. What we did in Karnataka, we will repeat in MP".

Digvijay Singh, another veteran Congress leader, also suggested that various committees should be formed in Madhya Pradesh soon and efforts should be made to reach out to the public through them, Leader of the Opposition Dr. Govind Singh also gave his suggestions. Rahul Gandhi also said that instead of a single face, the irregularities in the functioning of the entire government should be exposed and brought before the public.

Putting an end to the ongoing factionalism in the Congress, Rahul Gandhi said that injustice will not be allowed to happen to anyone, I am keeping an eye on every activity in Madhya Pradesh Congress, giving due respect to every person is my guarantee. Madhya Pradesh Congress leaders also talked about paying special attention to the seats of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in Madhya Pradesh.

Keeping his point, Mallikarjun Kharge said that every class should be taken care of because the general class also plays an important role in the elections on the seats. After the meeting, all the Congressmen were seen in enthusiasm and Kamal Nath also reiterated that with complete unity in Madhya Pradesh, Congress will win the elections this time.
