PP Singh passes away

Former Professor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism (Bhopal) PushpendraPal Singh passed away on Tuesday after suffering two heart attacks.

Bhopal | Former Professor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism (Bhopal) PushpendraPal Singh passed away on Tuesday after suffering two heart attacks. Prof Pushpendra Pal Singh was also the editor of the ‘Rozgar Aur Nirman’ newspaper. He was also the President of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) and was popularly known as ‘PP Sir among his students.

There is a wave of mourning in the literary world after the news of Pushpendra Pal Singh's death came out. Along with teaching countless students of journalism, Prof. Pushpendra Pal also helped a lot of his students in getting jobs. He had a deep attachment to literary-cultural activities. His last rites will be performed today at 12:30 pm at Bhadbhada Vishramghat. CM Shivraqj Singh Chouhan also condoled his death.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan termed his death a big loss for the Hindi journalism world. "Shri Pushpendra Pal Singh ji was like a friend and family to me, his untimely departure is my personal loss. An able, simple and hardworking personality, who was given any responsibility, he did it with excellence," he wrote in his tweet.

Prof. Pushpendra Pal Singh was an institution of journalism in himself, he taught journalism to many students in Madhya Pradesh and outside. The loss of an able Guru, popularly known as "PP Sir" among the students, came as a shock.
