Paper leak, farmer compensation

Congress walks out

Bhopal | On Monday, Congress members staged a walkout in the matter of paper leak and not providing relief to the farmers affected by the hailstorm. Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh said that the government is not serious on this big issue related to the farmers. The survey has not started yet. No farmer has got any help. We walk out on both these issues.

On the other hand, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that Congress is doing politics in the name of farmers. None of their leaders has reached among the farmers. Our leader Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is taking stock of the situation by holding a meeting with the officials and instructions have been given to conduct the survey. Neither Kamal Nath nor Digvijay Singh has reached the farmers' fields till now. The House is being used for politics.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel has assured the farmers of the state of a fair compensation for crop loss. He said that there is a double engine government from the center to the state and hence any crop loss will be compensated fully.
