Indore | Art of Living pioneer Sri Sri Ravi Shankar organised Yoga Mitra at Dussehra Maidan on Monday morning where about 5000 people participated. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also joined virtually.

A Rudra Puja was also held and the programmes were shown live across 180 countries. The programme started at 8 am. BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and former Minister Gaurishankar Bisen attended it.

A huge dome having a stage was built. As part of ensuring public health, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava started the programme last year under 'Clean Indore with Healthy Indore'. Yoga centres were set up in all 28 wards.

Trainers and yoga gurus participated in the programme.
