MP Tourism to Get New Wings: CM Holds High-Level Talks with Film Stars and Investors

Strengthening tourism infrastructure and aggressively promoting Madhya Pradesh as a premier film-shooting and Wedding Destination

Bhopal: In a strategic move to elevate tourism in Madhya Pradesh and attract significant investment, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a crucial one-to-one meeting on Saturday, with key investors, film producers, and renowned actors on the sidelines of the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM). The meeting, held at the Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium, focused on strengthening tourism infrastructure and aggressively promoting the state as a premier film-shooting and Wedding Destination.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured all industry leaders and investors of the government's full cooperation, expressing the commitment to make Madhya Pradesh the most attractive hub for tourism and film production in the country.

Key Film and Industry Leaders Present

The high-level discussions saw the participation of several prominent figures from the film industry, including famous film producer Ekta Kapoor, acclaimed actors Gajraj Rao and Raghubir Yadav. Lara Molina from the Spanish Film Commission and filmmaker Anna Saura also participated, signaling growing international interest.

Key attendees from the hotel and hospitality sector included Parveen Chander Kumar (EVP, IHCL), Ram Ola (Jet Serve Aviation), Saubhagya Mohapatra (MD, Atmosphere Core), Anirudh Kandpal (Co-founder, Post Card Hotels), Vinayak Kalani (MD, Treasure Group), and several other resort directors and industry executives.

Focus on Wedding Destination Promotion

During the meeting, experts in travel wedding planning and event management also shared their insights with CM Dr. Yadav on how to best market Madhya Pradesh as a sought-after wedding destination. This group included Naveen Kundu (Tourism Futures), Rakesh Kumar Rana (Yatra.com), Rajan Sehgal (IGTA), renowned Chef Manjit Gill, and prominent wedding journalists and event organizers.

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with state ministers Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi and Krishna Gaur, were also present during this comprehensive brainstorming session.
