Land scam case ,ED raids former Bishop PC Singh's house

ED has raided the house and office of former Bishop PC Singh in the church land scam case in Jabalpur.

Jabalpur | ED has raided the house and office of former Bishop PC Singh in the church land scam case in Jabalpur. Two teams of ED are investigating PC Singh's house and office. Earlier, PC Singh is currently out on bail after three months in jail following action in the EOW raid.

Last year the EOW raided their hideouts. EOW got Rs 1,65,00,000, 18,000 dollars, 118 pounds including 2 kg of gold and silver jewellery in the raid. The ED raided the house of Suresh Jacob, a close aide of PC Singh, but he had already disappeared. In this case, ED can take PC Singh into custody for questioning and he can be brought to Bhopal.

Notably, a case was registered against former Bishop PC Singh for misusing the funds of missionary schools and misusing his position, after which he was arrested and was in Jabalpur Central Jail for about 3 months. He came out from jail on bail in January this year. Since then, the Enforcement Directorate had started investigation against him. There are many allegations against PC Singh including embezzlement of about Rs.3 crore collected as fees from students.
