Bhopal | After the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme in the Congress-ruled states, the pressure to implement it in Madhya Pradesh is also increasing. The national president of the National Movement for Old Pension Scheme has given an ultimatum of one month to the state government. He has said that if the government does not take a decision on the old pension scheme, then they will start working to change the government. Our only slogan will be 'Vote for OPS'
In fact, on Sunday, at the BHEL Dussehra ground in Bhopal, the employees' organisations made a big show of strength for the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme. Employees of different departments from all over the state reached here in large numbers.
National President of National Movement for Old Pension Scheme, Vijay Kumar Bandhu said that government employees work in different capacities, from administering polio drops to counting and voting and also becoming presiding officers. He warned the government that if the issue is not settled, they will work against the government and this will create adverse effect in the upcoming assembly elections.
Vijay Kumar also demanded to take action on OPS within a month.  The complaint is not settled in Bhopal, they will hold a demonstration in Delhi. He said- Pension is not an issue for us, but a matter of life and death. If the government does not take a decision in a month, then we workers will start working to replace this government. Our only slogan is 'Vote for OPS'.
About 10,000 employees from all over the state have reached the BHEL Dussehra ground in the capital. Representatives of employee organisations of government and non-government departments of the central and state governments have also participated in this demonstration.
National Movement for Old Pension Scheme Madhya Pradesh India has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In this, it has been demanded that by abolishing the Central Civil Services Pension Rules 1972 Old Pension Scheme, the National Pension Scheme NPS has been implemented on the employees and officers appointed in government service after January 1, 2004, which is based on the stock market, risky and unsafe. There is no fixed pension and family pension in this.
