Golden Jubilee celebrations of HEMA School to conclude today

HEMA School, a prestigious place of learning came into existence in the early seventies reflecting the true values of the education which gave Kerala an unparalleled place in the literacy ranking of the country.

Bhopal | A group of Malayalees from BHEL came together with their determination to bring in their pursuit of wisdom and learning, set up a school in Bhopal 50 years ago. Thus, HEMA School, a prestigious place of learning came into existence in the early seventies reflecting the true values of the education which gave Kerala an unparalleled place in the literacy ranking of the country.

The Golden Jubilee celebration of HEMA higher Secondary School was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Governor Hon’able Mangubhai Patel on June 3, 2022 at the school premises.

During the years (1973 – 2023), the school has secured a place for itself in the academic world of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the few community schools which stand tall in the otherwise highly commercialised education sector.In these 50 years, HEMA School has been fortunate to have a prominent list of alumni spread far and near. HEMA School has ensured that the growth is not only in volume but also in quality education and all round development of the students esp. in arts, culture and sports.

The closing ceremony of the Golden Jubilee celebrations and the inauguration of the new building will be held on 29 April at the school premises from 7 pm.

ief Guest of the programme will be Minister of Medical Education Vishwas Kailash Sarang and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation, Govt. of MP. Guest of Honour will be Captain Roy Joseph (Retd), Programme Director, Defence Innovation Organisation. The founder member of HEMA Education Society L.V. Iyer has also reached Bhopal to attend this function.The function will be attended by all Malayalee Associations and leading personalities of the city.

Chairman of HEMA School Philip Panicker said that this is a memorable day for all of us at HEMA School as it shows our vision and continued commitment of imparting quality education.
