Fire damages few vehicles in Bhopal housing society, no injuries

A massive fire broke out in the parking area of a residential society in Bhopal's Rachna Nagar area on Monday afternoon, destroying a two-wheeler and a four-wheeler, while partially damaging other vehicles, officials said.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

Bhopal Municipal Corporation's fire officer, Saurabh Kumar Patel, said the blaze was reported in the basement/parking area of Rachna Tower around 1:30 PM.

According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in an electric two-wheeler parked in the parking lot and engulfed other vehicles, including an SUV parked nearby.

He said fire brigade personnel arrived at the scene immediately, and two fire engines were dispatched. The blaze has been doused, he added.
