Cong to take out Vachan Patra after Karnataka polls

Bhopal | The Congress promissory note (Vachan Patra ) will be released after the Karnataka elections. MP Congress will send invitation to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to attend the launch. Today a meeting was held at the bungalow of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath regarding this.

Former minister Tarun Bhanot said, our promissory note has been finalised. Senior Congress leaders are touring across the state in different areas. There will be a final meeting next week and after that the promissory note will be sent for printing. The promissory note of the Congress will be released after the Karnataka elections i.e. after 10th May.

The caste census was also discussed in the meeting. Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh had demanded caste census during his visit to Sagar. Digvijay Singh had said that after 2011 the caste census figures have not been made public, the figures should also be made public. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding caste census.

The Congress is making a promissory note keeping in mind the farmers, youth, women, elders and students as well as all castes and classes. The Congress will also clarify in its promissory note about the boards and commissions being set up by the Shivraj government. In the meeting, PCC Chief Kamal Nath also took a follow-up of the task given in the last meeting. Apart from this, discussion was also held on including the points included in the promissory note made before the last assembly elections and adding some other points to them.
