Bhopal | Bhopal Nair Samaj (BNS) held the 53 rd Mannam Remembrance Day on Saturday in memory of Bharatha Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan, founder of Nair Service Society, freedom fighter and social reformer.

A Bhajan Sandhya by Tatwamasi Bhajan, BMHRC was organised on this day. The Bhajana started with a song dedicated to Mannathu Padmanabhan followed by other devotional songs. The Bhajana team rendered devotional songs that created a spiritual atmosphere.

On this occasion, BNS also undertook charity activities by extending help to the patients of AIIMS and Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. Two wheel chairs were donated to AIIMS –Seva Bharati and one Wheel Chair was donated to Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital.

Annadanam was also provided at ‘Anand Dham’, Oldage Home, Near Nutan College, ‘RK Bisariya Blind School’, Baghmugalia and ‘Matruchhaya’ (Children’s Orphanage), Opp. Maida Mill, Hoshangabad Road.
