Amit Shah to attend the state working committee meeting in Gwalior

Bhopal | Amit Shah will attend the meeting of the BJP State Working Committee in Gwalior, said the State General Secretary Bhagwan Das Sabnani. He said that after a gap of  seven years, the state working committee is being held in the land of BJP stalwarts like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia.

The meeting involving 2000 members will discuss the strategy to win the battle of 2023 assembly elections and put in place the masterplan for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

This will be the last state working committee meeting of BJP before the state assembly elections.

This meeting will be held on August 20 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of Jiwaji University.

State General Secretary Bhagwan Das Sabnani, who arrived in Gwalior to take stock of the preparations, said that the party will make a strategy to win the battle of 2023 assembly elections and also prepare an action plan to win all 29 seats of the state in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Apart from Home Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Election Management Committee Coordinator  Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, State Election In-charge Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan,  State President VD Sharma and other national and state officials will be involved.

With BJP declaring its first list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, the party has set on into an election mode.

In Madhya Pradesh it came out with a list of 39 candidates on Thursday with its SC Morcha national president, Lal Singh Arya contesting from Gohad in Bhind district, and its national secretary, Omprakash Dhurwey contesting from Dindori's Shahpura assembly constituency. Dhruv Narayan Singh will contest from Bhopal Central.

On the question of BJP's defeat in 2018, State General Secretary Bhagwan Das Sabnani said that last time Scindia factor played in favour of Congress, but this time with Scindia in the BJP camp, things will surely be in favour of BJP.
