Indore | An all-religion prayer meeting was organised on Sunday morning for those killed in the tragic bawdi collapse at Beleshwar Mahadev temple in Patel Nagar two days ago. The Baha’i House here became the centre of such a unity.

Individuals from various religious backgrounds came together to offer prayers and support the families affected by the accident. Participants read and recited prayers from the holy scriptures of various faiths.

Jaideep Mahalati of Baha’i Faith emphasised the oneness of humanity and the need to come together to offer comfort for those who had lost their loved ones. The prayers included shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita recited by Sudhinder Mohan Sharma and Ajay Vyas, Buddhist scriptures were read by Subash Tarafdar, Jain ones by Amit Kothari, Bible passages by Rosilint Joseph, Quran recitations by Abbas Bangalorewala, Guru Granth Sahib readings by Vijayshree Bhatia, Avesta and Zoroastrian scriptures by Tahera, and Baha’i prayers by RB Sharma and Parvez Malik.

This gathering not only offered comfort and solace to those who had suffered loss but also demonstrated the power of unity and solidarity in times of tragedy.
