Berkeley, CA | Harilal Krishna, a native of Mookutala in Malappuram district, Kerala, has successfully obtained his master's degree in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Recognized as one of the world’s leading institutions, Berkeley's Master of Public Policy (MPP) program is renowned for its rigorous curriculum and distinguished faculty.

Harilal Krishna's academic journey is noteworthy, beginning with a BTech and MTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, where he graduated with a commendable 6th rank. His pursuit of excellence led him to RWTH Aachen University in Germany, where he conducted significant research in the field of catalysis for a year.

In addition to Harilal, two other Indians, Aditi Chugh and Mayank Bhushan from Delhi, were also awarded their master’s degrees in public policy from UC Berkeley this year, marking a proud moment for the Indian academic community.

Harilal Krishna is the son of K.K. Surendran, BJP state executive member in Kerala, and Sobha Surendran, the BJP State Vice President. His brother, Yadulal Krishna, is also part of his supportive family.
