Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' raises Rs 15.73 crore on opening day

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" has earned Rs 15.73 crore in net box office collection on the first day of its release, the makers said Thursday.

Directed by Luv Ranjan, the romantic comedy released in theatres on Wednesday. It is produced by Luv Films and Ankur Garg, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

Luv Films shared the box office update on its official Instagram page.

"In just (1) day, humne prove kar diya ki naa hi hum jhooth bolte hai, naa hi hum makkaari karte hai! #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar gets the love of 15.73 Cr at the box office!" the production banner said in the post.

"Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" also features Dimple Kapadia, Anubhav Singh Bassi, and Boney Kapoor.
