Sidharth Malhotra-starrer 'Vvan' to release on August 28

The makers of "Vvan – Force of the Forrest", featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, said the film will release on August 28.

New Delhi | The makers of "Vvan “ Force of the Forrest", featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, said the film will release on August 28.

The folk thriller film, which was previously slated to release on May 15, hails from Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Ltd and The Viral Fever (TVF). It is directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Mishra of the web series "Panchayat" fame.

Malhotra shared the news by uploading a poster of the film with the new release date written over it on his Instagram story on Wednesday.

The film marks the first project between Balaji Telefilms and TVF after they announced a creative partnership in 2023. It is also the first collaboration of Malhotra and Bhatia.

Malhotra's latest work is "Param Sundari", which released in 2025. The film also starred Janhvi Kapoor alongside the actor.

Bhatia featured in the 2025 comedy-drama series "Do You Wanna Partner" alongside Diana Penty. She essayed the role of Shikha Roy Chowdhury. It released on Prime Video.
