The film, which will take the viewers on a journey through time and fate, had its world premiere at the 2023 edition of the Sundance Film Festival in the US, a press release stated.

Starring Greta Lee and Teo Yoo in the lead roles, the story revolves around two young souls in South Korea, who, torn apart by destiny, find themselves reunited decades later.

As they confront their shared past, their lives intertwine in ways that defy conventional notions of love and resilience, as per the official plotline.

Also starring John Magaro, "Past Lives" was released in the US on June 2 by studio A24.
