New Delhi | Telugu superstar Jr NTR's upcoming pan-India film with filmmaker Prashant Neel has been titled "Dragon".

Set to release on June 11, 2027, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The makers shared the teaser of the film on Tuesday, on the occasion of the actor's 43rd birthday.

It featured the actor in the role of a ruthless assassin named Luger, operating as the Assassin-in-Chief for the Afghan Trading Company.

Besides NTR, the film also features Anil Kapoor as the Narcotics Bureau chief, Raghuveer Rathod.

The teaser introduces a dark, violent period-action epic set in 1967, centered around the international opium trade. It establishes a gritty, cinematic world where global syndicates fight for dominance in the illicit drug market following the British departure from India.

The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. It also features Biju Menon, Rukmini Vasanth, Khushbu Sundar, Guru Somasundaram, Rajeev Kanakala, Ashutosh Rana, Anshuman Pushkar, Sidhant Gupta, Prabhas Srinu, Shatru, Shiva, and Bhimal Jeet Oberoi, among others.

Neel is best known for the blockbuster "KGF" franchise and "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire".

Jr NTR last appeared in "Devara: Part 1", directed by Koratala Siva, which released in September 2024 alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
