Warner Bros. India on Friday announced that mystery thriller "The End of Oak Street", starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, will be released in theatres across the country on August 14.

New Delhi | Warner Bros. India on Friday announced that mystery thriller "The End of Oak Street", starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, will be released in theatres across the country on August 14.

The studio unveiled five new character posters for the film, which will be released in cinemas and IMAX in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The newly released posters feature Hathaway as Denise Platt, McGregor as Greg Platt, Maisy Stella as Audrey Platt, Christian Convery as Brian Platt and Starbuck, teasing a story centred on a family navigating strange happenings around them.

Written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, "The End of Oak Street" follows the Platt family after a mysterious cosmic event transports their suburban neighbourhood to an unknown world, forcing them to rely on one another to survive as they navigate their strange and dangerous new surroundings.

The film is produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper. Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker serve as executive producers.

The film is backed by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Bad Robot and Jackson Pictures.
