Los Angeles | Actor Amy Schumer is set to feature in "Best Divorce Ever" and will also produce it.
Schumer is producing alongside Matthew Lee Miller and Natalie Metzger for Vanishing Angle, according to the entertainment news outlet Variety. The film is directed by Sean Mullin, with Concourse Media launching worldwide sales in Toronto.
The actor will essay the role of Clarissa in the film. The details of the cast are kept under wraps. Concourse Media will executive produce and finance alongside Archetype Media Finance.
The film follows Clarissa (Schumer) and Franklin, who after 20 years together decide they're done with marriage “ but not with each other. Determined to pull off the world's most amicable divorce, they throw an 'Untying the Knot' party and eagerly embrace their newly single lives, reads the official logline.
When disastrous dates, suspicious children and spectacularly misguided attempts at 'conscious uncoupling' throw their perfect plan into chaos, Clarissa and Franklin discover that getting divorced is the easy part. Figuring out how to stay a happy family is where things get complicated.
The actor last featured in "Kinda Pregnant". The film was directed by Tyler Spindel and starred Schumer in the role of L Newton. It released in 2025.
