35th Padmarajan Awards: Dinjith Ayyathan bags awards for the Best Director & Bahul Ramesh selected as the Best Screenwriter

35th Padmarajan Awards, Dinjith Ayyathan bags awards for the Best Director & Bahul Ramesh selected as the Best Screenwriter, Novel Award for Chandramathi, Shanoj R Chandran Best Short Story writer, Mithun Krishna wins Vismayasmax Young Talent Award for the debutant novelist.

Thiruvananthapuram | The P. Padmarajan Awards for the best novel, story, direction, and screenplay of 2025 have been announced. Chandramathi, author of the novel 'Ozhukatha Oru Puzha', has won the award for the best novelist. Shanoj R Chandran, author of the short story 'Arappathiri', has been selected as the best short story writer. They will receive Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively, along with a plaque and a certificate of merit.

In the film awards, Dinjith Ayyathan won the award for best director and Bahul Ramesh for the best screenwriter for the film 'Eko'. Dinjith will receive Rs 25,000 each, a plaque and a certificate of merit, whereas Bahul will get Rs 15,000, plaque and certificate.

Mithun Krishna, author of 'Aparasamudra', won the Vismayasmax Young Talent Award presented to the first major literary work of a young writer..

Film Jury was headed Writer Director Madhupal where Critic Sulochana Rammohan and Film critic Vijayakrishnan were members whereas the literary Jury was chaired by writer S. Hareesh in which writer Rahul Radhakrishnan and Pradeep Panangad were members.
