· Jio Platforms has completed one of India’s most successful IPOs at a valuation of Rs 10.3 lakh crore by issuing 27 crore new shares at Rs 1,119 per share.
· At the IPO valuation, Jio Platforms is the 4th largest Indian company by market capitalization, just behind Reliance Industries (Rs 16.2 lakh crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 12.2 lakh crore) and HDFC Bank (Rs 10.6 lakh crore)
· This is a historic moment for Indian stock markets as no company has ever launched an IPO at a Rs 10+ lakh crore valuation in the history of Indian capital markets
· The shares of Jio Platforms Limited are set to list on NSE and BSE on Wednesday, 28th October 2026.
· Strong IPO demand, and grey market premium indicate that JPL’s shares have strong potential to list at a premium to the allotment price.
· If JPL’s shares list with 20% premium to the allotment price – i.e. at Rs 1,340 – then JPL will debut as India’s #2 most valuable company.
· At Rs 1,340 per share, JPL’s total market capitalization will exceed Rs 12.3 lakh crore
· It will also be another historic milestone if Jio debuts at India’s #2 by market capitalization, just below its parent Reliance Industries.
· Also, Reliance Industries and Jio Platforms – considering just the IPO valuation – together will make Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Group the most valuable group in India at a combined market capitalization exceeding Rs 27 lakh crore
As of 27th October 2026, the combined market capitalization of the all the 32 publicly listed Tata Group companies stands at approximately ₹25.7 lakh crore.
The combined market capitalization of all the 11 publicly listed Adani Group companies stands at approx. ₹16.6 lakh crore
· JPL’s debut at a premium to the IPO price could take Reliance Group closer to Rs 30 lakh crore market value milestone – the highest ever for any Indian corporate group.
