Thiruvananthapuram | The 'Canara Digital Trail' cycling expedition, organized by Canara Bank, concluded successfully after traversing the length of Kerala from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod.
Canara Bank officials K.K. Anil, A.M. Shabin, and R. Nithin participated in the journey, which aimed to promote digital banking, healthy lifestyles, and social awareness among the public.
Inauguration and Flag-off
The expedition’s logo was officially released by ADGP S. Sreejith. Suresh Kumar Mohanani, Head of Canara Bank’s Thiruvananthapuram Regional Office, presented the logo. The journey was officially flagged off on May 8 from the Thiruvananthapuram Circle Office by Circle Office AGM Anil Kumar Singh and Rajan Prabhakar.
Journey Through Kerala
During the trek through various districts, the cycling team received warm receptions at numerous Canara Bank branches. Upon reaching the Kozhikode Circle Office, the team was welcomed by Circle Head C.J. Vijayalakshmi along with other executives and staff. Following the reception, the team visited various branches to spread the message of digital banking to the general public.
Grand Finale
Covering a total distance of approximately 690 kilometers on bicycles, the expedition reached its destination at the Kasaragod Regional Office. Regional Office Head R.P. Sreenath performed the flag-down ceremony, marking the official end of the 'Canara Digital Trail.'
Organizers noted that the journey created a significant impact in society by effectively communicating the messages of Digital India and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
